Job Description
With massive growth ahead for Wealth Access, we’re looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between our technical solutions and the client's needs. As a Sales Engineer, you will work closely with our sales and product teams to demonstrate the value of our solutions, ensuring that potential clients understand the benefits and capabilities of our products.
Responsibilities
1. Pre-Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify client needs and tailor product demonstrations and presentations.
- Conduct in-depth technical presentations and demonstrations of our SaaS solutions to potential clients, highlighting key features and benefits.
- Develop and deliver customized product presentations and demonstrations that address specific client requirements.
2. Technical Expertise:
- Provide expert-level knowledge of our solutions, including features, functionalities, and integration capabilities.
- Address and resolve technical questions and concerns from clients, ensuring a clear understanding of our solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements to effectively position our products against competitors.
3. Client Engagement:
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their business challenges and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to develop tailored solutions that align with their objectives and provide value.
- Assist in the creation of proposals, RFP responses, and technical documentation.
4. Solution Design:
- Work with the product team to design and recommend solutions that meet client needs and align with best practices.
- Participate in scoping and planning sessions to ensure successful implementation and integration of our solutions.
5. Post-Sales Support:
- Provide ongoing support during the implementation phase to ensure smooth deployment and integration of the SaaS solution.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise post-sale.
- Gather feedback from clients to support product improvements and enhancements.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a Sales Engineer or Technical Account Manager role within the SaaS or financial technology sector, with specific knowledge of wealth and/or bank technology.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SaaS applications, wealth management platforms, brokerages, banks and trusts. Deep understanding of not only our product but that of our many channel partners. Familiarity with APIs, data security, and compliance standards.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Client-Focused: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
